Ingredients
2cupsflour
2tsp instant yeast
2tbspsugar
2tbsp soft butter
¼tspsalt
¼tbsp vegetable oil
⅔cup warm milk. (add more if needed )
¼tspbeetroot powder
Instructions
In a large bowl combine flour, sugar, salt, butter, yeast, and milk.
Mix well.
Turn the dough onto a floured surface and knead until smooth for 8-10 mins.
Shape dough into a ball, place in a greased bowl, cover, and rest for 15 mins.
Turn dough onto a lightly floured surface, knead the dough again for 5 mins and divide into two pieces.
Add beetroot powder to one-half of the dough, and knead until the color is evenly blended.
Divide each dough into 8 equal pieces.
Roll each dough ball into small round shape
Line up 6-7 pieces in a row.
Slowly roll it from one end to another end.
Cut in the middle to make two roses.
Slightly shape the bottom and petals.
Place the roses on the parchment paper, cover and let them rise in a warm place for 15 mins.
