Instructions
Preheat & Prepare
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
Grease or line an 8×8-inch baking pan or a loaf pan with parchment paper.

Whisk flour, baking soda, baking powder, cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg (if using), brown sugar, and salt in a bowl.
Mix the Wet Ingredients
In another bowl, beat the eggs, then mix in cottage cheese, oil or (melted butter), and vanilla.
Combine & Fold in Pear
Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
Fold in diced pear and any optional add-ins like nuts.
Pour into the pan and smooth the top, and tap to release air bubbles.
Garnish the top with sliced pears and almonds.
Bake
