  • ½ -inch ginger, finely chopped
  • 5-6 curry leaves, fresh or dried
  • ½ -inch cinnamon stick
  • 3-4 cardamom pods
  • ½ cup peas
  • 2 tbsp chopped fresh cilantro

  • 2 tsp cumin seeds
  • ½ tsp turmeric powder
  • ½ tbsp lemon juice
